Career Tips

Few articles for the tips to land a dream job under pandemic turbulence.

How to “create” a job during the pandemic time?

In the summer of 2021, I felt extremely hopeless.

I just finished my first year in the European MBA program. In order to enhance my practical experience in different industries, I flew back to Taiwan for a summer internship in the healthcare industry. On the second day after landing, I felt a strong sense of incompatibility, and the seed deep in my heart to stay in Europe was still germinating. I realized that after finishing my MBA next year, I don’t want to return to Taiwan for work immediately.

However, I have missed the best opportunity to change the track by then. After all, students who usually want to stay overseas usually make the best of the summer gap in the two-year school curriculum to find overseas internship opportunities and even leverage the same into a full-time position. Am I going the wrong way? Speaking more positively, what should I do in the next move to take me to where I want to go?
